Dental Veneers

Veneers are custom-made thin layers applied directly to the surface of the tooth to fix crooked, chipped, cracked or damaged teeth.

Dental veneers for a more brilliant smile

Veneers are thin shells of porcelain or resin composite that your dentist places and bonds over your teeth.

First, your dentist makes a thorough diagnosis of your teeth. If veneers are the recommended treatment, a mold of your teeth is taken and sent to a lab.

Once the veneers return from the laboratory, your teeth are prepared (minimal grinding and trimming) and the veneers are bonded over them. The entire procedure doesn't take more than 2-3 visits.

At the end you will enjoy a bright, white and impeccable smile.

Benefits of veneers

Veneers come with plenty of cosmetic and therapeutic benefits:

  • They cover teeth stains, cracks, surface irregularities, gaps between teeth, discolored fillings and so on.
  • They mimic the color and shine of your natural teeth, offering a straight, even and smooth smile that will last for years.
  • For a week or two you will have to adjust to your new teeth and their improved shape and size.
  • Maintenance is easy: daily brushing and flossing should be enough.

You may also need to see your dentist again for a follow-up a couple of weeks after the application.
